Childcare grants for clinician mothers in Kansas!
Thanks to a generous gift from United HealthCare Community Plan of Kansas, Zorya Foundation is providing childcare grants to 47 clinician mothers working in Kansas.
United HealthCare Community Plan of Kansas helps people live healthier lives. And we are grateful that, through the plan’s support of Zorya Foundation, we are in turn able to help clinician mothers working in Kansas to care for patients with the assurance that they can afford high-quality childcare for their children.
Mothers working in Kansas in a clinical role are eligible for a one-time childcare grant. All grants are a flat $1,000. Zorya Foundation practices trust-based philanthropy—grants are paid in cash and provided on a first-come, first serve basis until funds are depleted.
If you’re a clinician mother working within Kansas, and you could use help with childcare, we strongly encourage you to apply. Our applications are simple—we do not want our grantees to jump through extra hoops when we know they are already overburdened.
A mother working in any clinical role is eligible. Whether you’re a community health worker, lactation consultant, nurse or physician, we are here to help you.
